The Life of Roald Dahl documentary at Llandaff Institute

[ September 18, 2010; 2:00 pm; ] BBC documentary An Awfully Big Adventure, depicting the life of author Roald Dahl, will be screened free of charge at the Llandaff Institute at 2 pm on Saturday 18 September. This includes humorous readings from Roald Dahl’s autobiography about his early life in Llandaff.

Refreshments will be available.

Edwardian tea at Insole Court’s tea room

[ September 18, 2010; 1:45 pm to 3:30 pm. ] Insole Court’s tea room will transform to its original 1910 elegance as it hosts tea on Saturday 18 September from 1:45 to 3:30 pm.

Visitors can enjoy tea as children can play with antique toys — batteries not included.

Free heritage tours of Insole Court

[ September 18, 2010; 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. ] Insole Court opens its doors to visitors on Saturday 18 September from 1:30 to 4:00 pm.

Trained volunteers from the Friends of Insole Court will guide tours every half hour: 1:30, 2, 2:30, 3 and 3:30 pm.

Holly Ball at Hilton Hotel to benefit Organ Appeal

Opera Delights at Lorenza’s to benefit Organ Appeal
