Llandaff has spent most of Friday 17 December looking like it lives in a constantly shaken snow globe — and the Met Office predicts more. A few flashes of sunshine were quickly forgotten as many schools shuttered, pavements grew slick and the Twittersphere began to dub the day White Friday.

The Local Government Boundary Commission for Wales has decided to back down on its draft proposal to merge Llandaff and Llandaff North into a super ward within Cardiff, according to the commission’s final proposal.

Kalla Bella opened an hour early to a crowd of customers for Llandaff’s second of three coffee mornings. All proceeds go towards the High Street Decoration Fund, which helps beautify the village area.
